Tarot cards are a beautiful way of symbolically exploring human emotions and thoughts.

In this class we will examine the overall structure of the tarot and the meanings of the individual cards. The main focus will be on placing the cards into a system that ties together the cards' meanings. Two such systems will be examined, the Waite-Smith (Rider-Waite deck) and the Crowley-Harris (Thoth deck). Several other decks will also be presented to show artistic and symbolic variations of the cards.
