From MIT Pagan Students' Group
Date: Saturday, January 26, 2007
Time: 7:00 to 9:00 pm
Location: TBA
Tarot is a beautiful way of symbolically looking at human emotions and thoughts. The cards have interesting correspondences in modern culture and media, as well as in more traditional systems of thought. There are many types of tarot decks, using widely varying symbols and artwork, ranging from the old, paying-card-like decks to the elaborately-painted 19th- and 20th-century decks to decks such as the Gummy Bear Tarot and the Sailor Moon Tarot.
This workshop introduces the tarot, its history and its uses.
